John L. Scott and Coldwell Banker Bain Partner In Title Company Coldwell Banker Bain Associates and John L. Scott Real Estate, two of the largest real estate companies in the Pacific Northwest, have joined together in ownership of Lawyer"s Title Agency of Washington. The unique partnership between John L. Scott and Coldwell Banker Bain has been in development for several months. The two companies agreed to come together on this venture so that collectively they could offer an even greater level of service to their clients and agents. Joe Spencer, Chief Operating Officer of Coldwell Banker Bain says, "This is a truly unique partnership in that we remain competitors in the residential brokerage business, but have chosen to work together in the Title business so that we can offer complete real estate services to our clients." Both companies said that their decision to purchase Lawyer"s Title is part of an overall goal to provide clients with convenient "one stop shopping" real estate services. It also enables the companies to have more control over the level of customer service that is provided to their clients. "It has everything to do with the economies of scale," adds Jerry Moon, Senior Executive Vice President of John L. Scott, "By partnering, we are able to accomplish more together than we could have as single entities." Lawyer"s Title Agency of Washington currently has four offices located throughout the Puget Sound area to service John L. Scott and Coldwell Banker Bain Associates.
