Market Conditions: Southwest Florida

Our local market expert for Southwest Florida, Ginny Lee, reports her area is thriving. She has seen 53 sales so far this year, which is 10 percent of all the properties on the market. The fact that so many properties in her area are either waterfront or part of a golfing community is keeping buyers coming, Lee says. And she thinks now is the time to buy, as there are a lot of properties on the market right now, which is keeping prices relatively low. Once developers sell out there existing inventory, prices will go up again, Lee says. But for now, many developers are paying closing costs and offering big bonuses to make sales. Buyers would be wise to invest now while the market is offering such great incentives. For more information on this area, contact Ginny Lee at: www.ginnylee.com.
