Miller University Prepares Realtors for Success

The company institutes a two-week training program that concentrates on topics that apply to making a living in real estate, according to company president, Virginia E. Cook. "The Henry S. Miller University is also a good refresher course for Realtors who have been in the business for some time," she says. The University addresses such topics as contracts, prospecting, farming, and agency relationships. Students also learn about the business support available through Henry S. Miller, Realtors and how to use company tools and software such as PREP. Follow-up training includes a course of study that earns the Henry S. Miller Residential Professional Designation and there are workshops on self-promotion, prospecting, advanced agent issues, management development, and teachings from nationally-recognized speakers and trainers. Henry S. Miller, Realtors is ranked the 19th largest residential real estate company in the nation with over 1,000 associates in 30 offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and Houston.
