Reader Challenges Fairness Of Listing Copyright Rights

real? HomeGain makes money by providing leads to real estate agents. Once again, MLS access is front and center. Maybe some listing agents don"t like the subject of commissions to be part of their listing presentation, especially when they have no control over what"s being said. That"s certainly not the case in the MLS. Commissions have nothing to do with the MLS listing presentation ... so if listing brokers are giving their permission for use, why shouldn"t they be able to control the environment in which the listings are presented? That"s why online listings should be treated differently by copyright rights and MLS data-sharing rules. Non-listing brokers have agreed to a certain level of cooperation. I"ve seen postcards printed with such bad ink that a light rain turns them into a finger-painting.

Be Wary Of The All Cash Offer
Q. We have just received an advertisement in the mail offering "all cash” for our house, or in the alternative to give us a monthly payment for our equity. Our house is an investment property, which is in need of a lot of repairs, and thus the offer sounds attractive. What guarantee does a seller have that he/she will get the full amount. Suppose the company goes bankrupt? How can these companies offer such benefits as without even seeing the property?
